Names Released In Grow Op Bust

(ORILLIA, ON) – The Orillia OPP Street Crime Unit (SCU), Community Drug Action Team (CDAT), Drug Enforcement Unit (DEU), Canine Unit, OPP Aviation Services and members of the Orillia OPP executed a warrant at a Ramara Township property.

On October 5, 2016 officers attended an address on the 5th Side Road where they seized and destroyed approximately 2600 marihuana plants from a large outdoor grow operation. Police arrested 10 people at the scene and they have all been charged with drug related offences.

Mei CHENG, 54 years old of Markham, has been charged with Production of Marihuana, Possession of Marihuana-Over 30 grams and Possession of Marihuana for the Purpose of Trafficking-Over 3 kilograms. She was released on a Promise to Appear in Orillia Criminal Court on December 6, 2016.

Alan CHEONG, 41 years old of Ramara Township, has been charged with Production of Marihuana, Possession of Marihuana-Over 30 grams and Possession of Marihuana for the Purpose of Trafficking-Over 3 kilograms. He was released on a Promise to Appear in Orillia Criminal Court on December 6, 2016.

Bao FENG, 46 years old of Bradford-West Gwillimbury, has been charged with Production of Marihuana, Possession of Marihuana-Over 30 grams and Possession of Marihuana for the Purpose of Trafficking-Over 3 kilograms. He was released on a Promise to Appear in Orillia Criminal Court on December 6, 2016.

Chee LEE, 42 years old of Scarborough, has been charged with Production of Marihuana, Possession of Marihuana-Over 30 grams and Possession of Marihuana for the Purpose of Trafficking-Over 3 kilograms. He was released on a Promise to Appear in Orillia Criminal Court on December 6, 2016.

Huo LIU, 37 years old of Scarborough, has been charged with Production of Marihuana, Possession of Marihuana-Over 30 grams and Possession of Marihuana for the Purpose of Trafficking-Over 3 kilograms. He was released on a Promise to Appear in Orillia Criminal Court on December 6, 2016.

Jianfeng LUO, 30 years old of Markham, has been charged with Production of Marihuana, Possession of Marihuana-Over 30 grams and Possession of Marihuana for the Purpose of Trafficking-Over 3 kilograms. He was released on a Promise to Appear in Orillia Criminal Court on December 6, 2016. He was released to the Canadian Border Service due to an outstanding immigration warrant.

Zhuo LUO, 43 years old of Markham, has been charged with Production of Marihuana, Possession of Marihuana-Over 30 grams and Possession of Marihuana for the Purpose of Trafficking-Over 3 kilograms. He was released on a Promise to Appear in Orillia Criminal Court on December 6, 2016.

Jian SUN, 27 years old of Scarborough, has been charged with Production of Marihuana, Possession of Marihuana-Over 30 grams and Possession of Marihuana for the Purpose of Trafficking-Over 3 kilograms. He was released on a Promise to Appear in Orillia Criminal Court on December 6, 2016.

Hua YU, 40 years old of Markham, has been charged with Production of Marihuana, Possession of Marihuana-Over 30 grams and Possession of Marihuana for the Purpose of Trafficking-Over 3 kilograms. She was released on a Promise to Appear in Orillia Criminal Court on December 6, 2016.

Li YUA, 54 years old of Scarborough, has been charged with Production of Marihuana, Possession of Marihuana-Over 30 grams and Possession of Marihuana for the Purpose of Trafficking-Over 3 kilograms. She was released on a Promise to Appear in Orillia Criminal Court on December 6, 2016.
