(LAKESHORE, ON) — The Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to a two vehicle crash on June 25, 2016 at approximately 7:15 p.m. on Essex County Road 46 at Rochester Townline Road in Lakeshore.
The driver and passenger of the motorcycle involved were both killed in the crash.
Colin JACKSON, age 38 and Laurie JACKSON, age 39, both of Windsor, were taken to hospital with serious injuries as a result of the crash but pronounced deceased at the hospital.
The investigation remains ongoing and charges are pending.

TWO PEOPLE KILLED IN LAKESHORE CRASH
(LAKESHORE, ON) — The Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) along with Lakeshore Fire Department and Essex Windsor Emergency Medical Service (EMS) responded to a two vehicle motor vehicle collision on June 25, 2016 at approximately 7:15 p.m. on Essex County Road 46 at Rochester Townline Road in Lakeshore.
A Harley Davidson motorcycle was travelling westbound on Essex County Road 46 carrying a passenger when a Ford minivan which was travelling northbound on Rochester Townline Road ran through the posted stop sign and struck the motorcycle.
Both the driver and passenger on the motorcycle were ejected and sustained serious injuries as a result of the collision. Both were transported to hospital by EMS where they were pronounced deceased.
The driver of the Ford was not injured in the crash.
The intersection was closed for approximately 6 hours.
Names of the deceased are not being released at this time pending notification of next of kin.
Charges are pending.
