Names Released In Fatal Fire

(GUELPH-ERAMOSA TOWNSHIP, ON) – On November 20, 2015 at approximately 9:01 a.m., Wellington County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to a report of a residential structure fire at a home located on Lowrie Lane, Eden Mills, Guelph-Eramosa Township.

Guelph-Eramosa Fire Department and Puslinch Fire and Rescue Service extinguished the fire and removed two people from the home. They were taken to a local hospital by Guelph-Wellington Emergency Medical Services (EMS) and pronounced deceased. They have been identified as Susanne McNALLY and Trevor McNALLY, both residents of the home.

Wellington County OPP Crime Unit under the direction of Detective Inspector Andy Raffay and Detective Staff Sergeant Tina Chalk of the OPP Criminal Investigation Branch (CIB) and the Office of the Ontario Fire Marshal continue to investigate this incident.

A post mortem is scheduled on November 22, 2015 at a Hamilton hospital to determine the cause of death. The OPP believe there are no public safety concerns.
