(WELLINGTON NORTH TOWNSHIP, ON) – On October 8, 2015 at approximately 4:30 p.m., members of the Wellington County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) along with Centre Wellington Fire Rescue and Wellington North Fire responded to a report that a lawn mower had entered into a pond on Concession 2 of Wellington North Township and the operator was unaccounted for.
The pond was partially drained and the body of a 76-year-old male from Wellington North Township was pulled from the water. The male has been identified as George SAUDER. The death is considered non-suspicious.
