(LEAMINGTON, ON) – The Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) has completed the investigation into a body recovered from the waters at the Happy Snapper Marina in Leamington on August 15, 2016.
William OUIMETTE, age 71 of Tilbury, Ontario was discovered at approximately 2:30 p.m.
The death has been deemed non-suspicious.

DEATH INVESTIGATION
(LEAMINGTON, ON) – On August 15, 2016 at approximately 2:30 p.m. Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) officers responded to the report of a body floating in the water at the HAPPY SNAPPER MARINA on Bevel Line in Leamington Ontario.
Leamington Fire Services attended the scene and assisted with the removal of the victim from the water.
Investigators are awaiting results of a forensic post-mortem examination to assist in the investigation and attempting to notify the next-of-kin. No further information is available at this time, however foul play is not suspected.
