(NORFOLK COUNTY, ON) – The Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Norfolk County Detachment was contacted by a concerned homeowner at a Windham Road 12, Delhi, Norfolk County, Ontario address.
On Friday, November 22, 2013, at approximately 11:04 a.m., a homeowner observed a motor vehicle drive across the front their lawn after it left the roadway. The vehicle continued eastbound at which time police were called.
Police subsequently located the vehicle at which time it was stopped and investigated.
As a result of police investigation, 38 year old Nakia John VANTYGHEM of Tillsonburg, Ontario was charged with Careless Driving and Fail to Remain under the Highway Traffic Act.
He is to appear in Provincial Court, Simcoe at a later date to answer to the charges.
