On Saturday the 25th of January 2014, at approximately 8:30pm, a blue Honda Civic travelling northbound on Ottawa Street North crossed into the southbound lane and hit a black BMW SUV head on. Both drivers were taken to hospital and treated for non-life threatening injuries. Roads at the time were slick but visibility was clear. Police do not believe that speed or alcohol was a factor. The driver of the Honda, a 38 year old Kitchener male,has been charged with Careless driving.
