On October 13th, 2014 at approximately 9:23 PM, a 3 vehicle motor vehicle collision occurred at the intersection of Franklin Boulevard and Bishop Street North in the city of Cambridge. A green GMC SUV driven by an 83 year old Burford man was travelling south on Franklin Boulevard. A white Toyota SUV driven by a 50 year old Cambridge male was driving north on Franklin Boulevard and attempted to turn left onto Bishop Street North. The collision caused the Toyota to strike a Nissan pickup truck which was stopped on Bishop Street North. The Nissan truck sustained minor damage. As a result of the investigation, the 83 year old driver of the GMC SUV was charged with failing to stop for a red light.
