Murder Suspect At Large – Image Released – Do Not Approach!

Major Crime Section members continue to investigate the homicide which occurred just after 5:20am on Sunday, June 14, 2015. Uniformed patrol members responding to a disturbance in the parking lot at 1181 Highbury Avenue North were directed to 1365 Huron Street by citizens reporting gunfire in that area. Responding members found Jeremy Ryan Cook, 18 years of age, suffering from gunshot wounds at that location. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

On Friday, June 19, 2015 an arrest warrant was applied for, charging Muhab Sultanaly Sultan, 23 years of age of Calgary, (image attached) with second degree murder. He remains at large. Police are urging the public not to approach this individual and to call 911 if he is seen.

Police continue to investigate the second suspect, described as a black male, with very short hair, wearing a black jacket or shirt and a fitted hat.

Police are also appealing to a third individual seen exiting the involved vehicle immediately prior to the incident to contact police and identify himself.
