Multiple Liquor Charges

(TOWNSHIP OF PERTH EAST, ON) On Friday November 12, 2010 shortly after 5 p.m., a Perth County OPP officer on patrol stopped a speeding motorist on Perth Line 43 east of Amulree. The driver was given a roadside breath test. The test indicated that the driver had a blood alcohol concentration in excess of the zero blood alcohol level as required. As a result, the twenty year old female resident from Central Huron was given an immediate 24-hour licence suspension and was charged for speeding.

(MUNICIPALITY OF WEST PERTH, ON) On Friday November 12, 2010, before 8 p.m. a male resident from the Municipality of West Perth was stopped on Hwy. 23 south of Mitchell. He was given a roadside breath test and as a result was issued a 3 day drivers licence suspension.

(MUNICIPALITY OF NORTH PERTH, ON) On Friday November 12, 2010, at 8:30 p.m., a Perth County OPP officer stopped a motor vehicle in Monkton and observed that the male driver who is a resident from the Municipality of West Perth had an open container of liquor in his possession. The driver’s liquor was seized and he was charged under the Liquor Licence Act.

(ST.MARYS, ON) On Saturday November 13, 2010, shortly after 5 p.m. a Perth County OPP officer located a male drinking in the Pyramid Centre Parking lot. A charge under the Liquor Licence Act was laid on a 45 year old resident from Cambridge.
