On april 22nd in the early morning a couple of people went around wingham breaking their way into cars. In the morning me and my partner went out too our car too find a psp, multiple charging cords, an mp3 player, first aid kit and my purse stolen. We were told by an officer that many cars were broken into and someone had chased the guys at 5 am but lost them. The police seem too be putting no effort into figuring this out. They called us on the 23rd too say that they were sure they’d find my purse. There has been nothing put out media wise too let anyone know. Around 10pm we realized that our car/house keys were in my purse, we drove around for over an hour trying too find an officer but found nothing at all. They’re never there when they are needed. I find it disturbing that these people have my health card, sin # and spare keys too our cars and house. Why is it the police are doing nothing? I don’t want too pay for a force that does nothing too help it’s citizens. I went has far as too stop in at the electronic stores in town who do trade and sell and leave them information about our stolen electronics. Why didn’t the police? So far all I have heard that they’ve done is ask macs too keep an eye out on their cameras for any who looks suspicious. That helps nothing. Wingham is going too hell and franky I’m terrified too walk the streets at night.
