(WOODSTOCK, ON) – Criminal Investigators from Woodstock City Police, London City Police and the OPP, under the direction of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Detective Inspector Rob Hagerman of the OPP Criminal Investigation Branch (CIB) are presently involved in a multi-jurisdictional death investigation. The investigation initially spearheaded by Woodstock City Police began on Thursday, September 29, 2016.
On Wednesday, October 5, 2016, the province’s Major Case Management Coordinator assigned Detective Inspector Hagerman to the investigation which may encompass Woodstock City, London City as well as the Counties of Oxford and Brant.
Investigators from each police jurisdiction are at the very early stages of the investigation working toward confirming information and gathering evidence alleged to form part of this investigation.
Though police always encourage citizens to make safety a priority, they do not believe there is any further threat to public safety at this time and have identified a suspect.
