(Tecumseh, ON) – As the Ontario Provincial Police continue to investigate this crash medical professionals have downgraded the status of the motorcycle driver from serious to life threatening.
Essex County OPP Technical Traffic Investigators will be on scene to further investigate this crash and the crash scene.
The driver of the dump truck was not injured.
Tecumseh Road will be closed from Shawnee Road to Poisson Street for at least 4-6 hours while the OPP investigate. Again, motorist are asked to avoid the area.
(Tecumseh, ON) – The Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) in Tecumseh are currently at a crash site involving a motorcycle and a Dump Truck.
On October 2nd, 2015 at approximately 3:50pm a 17 year old Windsor man was east bound on Tecumseh Road operating a motorcycle. As the male approached the intersection of Shawnee Road and Tecumseh Road a crash occurred between the motorcycle and a south bound Dump truck, which was pulling out of a construction site just north of the intersection.
The 17 year old man was transported to an area hospital with serious injuries. The area of Tecumseh Road between Shawnee Road and Lesperance Road in the Town of Tecumseh will be closed for approximately two hours while OPP investigate the crash. Motorists are asked to avoid the area.
