(MIDDLESEX COUNTY, ON) – On October 2, 2014 at approximately 5:17 p.m., members of the Middlesex County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to a single motor vehicle crash on Highway 401, in the City of London, Ontario.
The investigation revealed that a 2005 green Yamaha motorcycle had been travelling eastbound in the outside lane, east of Wellington Road, when the vehicle experienced a problem with its rear tire.
The lone rider lost control of the vehicle, and the vehicle crashed, coming to rest on the south shoulder of Highway 401.
The rider, a 39 year old female from Central Elgin, Ontario, was transported with non-life threatening injuries to hospital, where she is currently listed in fair condition.
