Motorcycle Collision Closes Hwy 6

(TEHKUMMAH TOWNSHIP, ON) – At approximately 3:35 p.m. on Monday, June 13, 2016, members of the Manitoulin Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to a single vehicle collision involving a motorcycle on King’s Highway 6, in Tehkummah Township. Kenneth FILSINGER, 68 years old of Orangeville, Ontario was transported to hospital with life threatening injuries.

The highway was closed for approximately five hours while OPP Technical Collison Investigators (TCI) completed their scene investigation and determined driver error was a contributing factor to the collision.
