Yesterday morning, around 8:50 a.m. police responded to a two-vehicle collision in Tilbury.
A 67-year-old Merlin man was travelling northbound on Tilbury Street when he made a left hand turn to go westbound on Mill Street. Upon doing so, the man struck a 42-year-old Kingsville man driving a truck southbound through the intersection.
Neither driver was injured. Total damage was estimated at $2000.
The Merlin man was charged with making a turn – not in safety.
