Around 12:30 p.m. yesterday afternoon, police responded to single motor vehicle collision on Erieau Road in Harwich Township.
The driver lost control of his vehicle, left the roadway and struck a sign and fire hydrant. He was not injured. Damage was estimated at $10,000.
The 21-year-old Blenheim man was charged with Careless Driving.
