(Bonnechere Valley Township, ON) On December 17, 2013 at approximately 4:00pm a 65 year old male from Eganville was operating a Volkswagon vehicle south bound on Crooked Rapids Road when the driver failed to stop for a school bus that had operating red flashing lights activated. As a result the driver struck the side of the school bus that was driving with public school age students on board. Both vehicles received minor damage and there were no injuries. The investigation is ongoing. Provincial Constable Nicole Berger is investigating.
