(Edwardsburgh/Cardinal Township) On Sunday November 3, 2013 at approximately 1:45 am members of the Grenville County OPP, Prescott Detachment responded to a motor vehicle collision on County Rd. 44 just south of McNeilly Rd.in Edwardsburgh/Cardinal Township.
A 2007 GMC Sierra Pickup truck was traveling southbound on County Rd. 44 when the driver lost control of the vehicle and rolled into the east ditch.
The driver and lone occupant in the vehicle, 25 year old male, Benjamin Swerdfeger of Edwardsburgh/Cardinal Township was pronounced dead at the scene.
The incident remains under investigation.
