Morris-Turnberry Man Found Passed Out Behind The Wheel With Open Beer On Browntown Road

(MORRIS-TURNBERRY, ON) – A 25 year old driver is facing two criminal charges following a traffic stop on December 12, 2014. At approximately 11:15 p.m. a Huron County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) officer on patrol observed a Ford F-350 pickup truck stopped on Browntown Road in the live lane of traffic.

Upon checking on the driver officers noted the driver was asleep at the wheel with the vehicle in gear. Officers also noticed an open bottle of beer in the vehicle. Upon waking the driver the vehicle lurched forward prompting the officer to place the vehicle into park.
