More Than $60,000 Worth Of Power Sports Equipment Hauled Away From Marina

(NORTH KAWARTHA TOWNSHIP, ON) – Members of the Peterborough County Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) were called to investigate a theft from Tucker’s Marine on Highway 28 Apsley shortly before 10:30am on Friday morning.

Early Friday morning, between 3:15am and 3:40am, two suspects could be seen on security cameras moving trailers around the boat yard. Suspects stole the shop truck and hooked onto a side by side on a trailer. In this vehicle thieves also loaded two outboard motors and a power washer. A second suspect in another vehicle backed into the property and hooked onto an enclosed snowmobile trailer containing two snow machines. Thieves stole the following items:

2008 Chevrolet Silverado pickup, grey with a silver Snow Dog snow plow attached

2016 Yamaha Wolverine 700 side by side black

2017 Advantage galvanized trailer open deck

2011 Yamaha Venture GT 900 snowmobile black

2016 Yamaha Apex 1000 snowmobile silver

2015 Interstate 7×17 enclosed trailer dual axles black

2 Outboard motors

Power washer

In addition to the vehicle stolen from the marina police are also looking for a black 2008 to 2013 Chevrolet/GMC pickup 4 door truck that was involved in this incident and may be responsible for other thefts in the region (see attached picture).

The total value of the theft in well over $60,000 and investigators are actively looking for information that may lead to a suspect or suspect(s) in this case.
