(TINY TOWNSHIP) – Over the past weekend a member of the Southern Georgian Bay Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) stopped two suspended drivers on the same roadway.
On February 26, 2016 at 8:07 p.m. a motor vehicle was stopped on County Road 6 in Tiny Township. After further investigation by the officer, the male driver was found to be suspended. On February 27, 2016 at 8: 32 p.m. a motor vehicle was stopped on County Road 6 in Tiny Township. After further investigation by the officer, the driver was found to be suspended.
A 33 year old male from Penetanguishene and a 35 year old male from Tiny Township have both been charged with:
Driving While under Suspension contrary to sec 53(1) of the Highway Traffic Act
They are scheduled to appear in the Ontario Court of Justice in Penetanguishene on March 31, 2016.
