(Napanee, ON)- On December 11, 2016 at 3:07 a.m. officers with the Loyalist detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to a report of single motor vehicle collision on Mill Street in Yarker.
Police attended the scene and determined that the driver of a black Mazda 5 had lost control of the vehicle and struck a tree.
The driver of the vehicle, 24 year-old Maegan PHILLIPS of Stone Mills Township was arrested and charged with over 80 mgs.
She was released on a Promise to Appear and is scheduled to attend the Ontario Court of Justice in Napanee on January 10, 2017.
R.I.D.E. CHECK NETS IMPAIRED DRIVER
(Napanee, ON)- On December 9, 2016 at 4:00 p.m. officers with the Napanee OPP conducted a R.I.D.E. (Reduce Impaired Driving Everywhere) program on County Road 13, Stone Mills Township.
At 4:10 p.m. a male driver was arrested for over 80 mgs after failing a roadside screening device test. He was transported to Napanee OPP detachment for further breath tests.
Charged with over 80 mgs is 46 year-old James SHEARD of Greater Napanee.
He was released on a Promise to Appear and is scheduled to attend the Ontario Court of Justice in Napanee on January 10, 2017.
