(ANGUS, ESSA, NEWTECUMSETH, ON) – Members of the Nottawasaga OPP of the Ontario Provincial Police were kept this weekend with 3 Impaired driving incidents
The first incident occurred on Saturday June 18, 2016 at 3:40 am when a vehicle stopped on Centre Street in Angus, Ontario. After a roadside investigation Jeremy MOORE ,30 years old, of Essa Township was arrested and charged with Operate Motor vehicle over 80 mgs of alcohol
On Sunday June 19,2016 at 7:40 pm at the intersection of Simcoe County Rd. #27 and 5 side road of Essa Township police responded to a two vehicle motor vehicle collision. As a result of police investigation John MORPHET 59 years old of Barrie was charged with operate a motor vehicle over 80 mgs of alcohol.
Finally on Sunday June 19, 2016 at 7:45 pm a traffic complaint was reported to police on 10th side road at Highway in 9 in Town of New Tecumseth. A Ford Pickup was stopped by police and 30 year old Graydon STRANKS of King Township was charged with impaired driving and driver Motor vehicle over 80 mgs
All drivers had their vehicles impounded for 7 days and drivers licenses suspended for 90 days. They will appear in Ontario Court of Justice at a later date
