More Impaired Drivers Busted

(KENORA, ON) Members of the Kenora Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) have charged a Kenora male for impaired driving.

On Saturday, October 29, 2016 shortly after 8:00pm, members of the Kenora OPP were patrolling Essex Road and observed a vehicle in the ditch.

Upon speaking to the driver, it was determined the driver had been consuming alcohol and arrested him at the scene. He was transported to the detachment for further tests.

As a result of the investigation, Joshua ANDERSON, age 26 from Kenora has been charged with, Driving with More than 80 mg of Alcohol in Blood contrary to section 253(1)(b)CC.

He is to appear in Kenora Court on December 8, 2016 to answer to the charge.

(KENORA, ON) On Monday, October 31, 2016 at approximately 5:00pm, the Kenora OPP received a complaint regarding a possible impaired driver on Highway 17.

A short time later, police observed the suspect vehicle in the ditch on Highway 17, near Gundy Road. It was determined the lone occupant of the vehicle had consumed alcohol and was arrested at the scene.

As a result of the investigation, Henry ENNS, age 63 from Winnipeg Manitoba, has been charged with Driving with more than 80 mg of Alcohol in Blood contrary to Section 253 (1)(b) of the Criminal Code of Canada.

He is to appear in court on December 15, 2016 to answer to the charges.
