More Impaired Drivers Busted

(KENORA, ON) Members of the Kenora Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) have charged a male following a (Reduce Impaired Driving Everywhere) RIDE program on Highway 17 East.

On Friday, November 18, 2016 at 12:30 a.m, police were conducting a RIDE check and upon speaking to the driver, it was determined the driver had been consuming alcohol and arrested him at the scene. He was transported to the detachment for further tests.

As a result of the investigation, Bradley SILLS, age 28 from Ottawa, Ontario has been charged with, Drive with More than 80 mg of Alcohol in Blood and Impaired Driving contrary to the Criminal Code of Canada.

He is to appear in Kenora Court on December 15, 2016 to answer to the charges.

On Friday, November 18, 2016 at 11:00 p.m, police were conducting a RIDE program and upon speaking to the driver, it was determined the driver had been consuming alcohol and arrested her at the scene. She was transported to detachment for further tests.

As a result of the investigation, Erinn TURCAN, age 25 from Winnipeg Manitoba has been charged with Drive with more than 80 mgs of alcohol in blood, contrary to the Criminal Code of Canada.

She is to appear in Kenora court on December 15, 2016 to answer to the charge.

(KENORA, ON) On Saturday, November 19, 2016 at 5:30 a.m, police conducted a vehicle stop in the south side of Kenora for a traffic violation.

Upon speaking to the driver, it was determined the male driver had been consuming alcohol. The male was arrested at the scene and was transported to the Kenora detachment.

As a result of the investigation, Matthew BEAULIEU, age 25 from Kenora has been charged with Drive with More than 80 mg of Alcohol in Blood and Impaired Driving contrary to the Criminal Code of Canada.

He is to appear in court on December 15, 2016 to answer to the charges.

Upon speaking to the driver, it was determined that the female driver had been consuming alcohol. She was transported to detachment for further tests.

As a result of this investigation, Brandy PELLETIER, age 40 from Kenora has been charged with Drive with more than 80 mg of Alcohol in Blood contrary to the Criminal Code of Canada and Fail to Drive in Marked Lane, Red Light-Fail to stop, Disobey Stop Sign-Fail to Stop contrary to the Highway Traffic Act.

She is to appear in Kenora court on December 15, 2016 to answer to the charge.
