(KENORA, ON) ) Members of the Kenora Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) have charged 2 males for Impaired Driving over the weekend.
On Saturday, February 11, 2017 at approximately 9:30 pm., Members of the Kenora OPP conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle for a Highway Traffic Act violation in the downtown area. Upon speaking to the driver it was determined he had been consuming alcohol and arrested him at the scene. He was transported to the detachment for further tests.
As a result of the investigation, Leslie MARTIN age 38 from Kenora has been charged with Impaired Driving contrary to Section 253(1)(a) of the Criminal Code (CC) and Driving with More than 80 mg of Alcohol in Blood contrary to section 253(1)(b)CC.
He appeared in Kenora bail court on February 13, 2017 to answer to the charges.
(KENORA, ON) On Saturday, February 11, 2017 at approximately 11:30 p.m., Members of the Kenora Ontario Provincial Police received a complaint of a possible impaired driver.
The suspect vehicle was located a short time later on Highway 17A. It was determined by police that the driver had been consuming alcohol. The driver was arrested at the scene and transported to detachment for further tests.
As a result of this investigation Jordan KUBISEWSKY, age 27 from Kenora has been charged with Driving with More than 80 mg of Alcohol in Blood contrary to Section 253(1)(b) of the Criminal Code of Canada.
He is to appear in Kenora court on March 16, 2017 to answer to the charge.
