More Impaired Drivers Arrested

(PETERBOROUGH, ON) – Members of the Peterborough County Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) conducting a RIDE program on the Parkway onramp to northbound Highway 115 encountered a driver who had been consuming alcohol Friday night shortly after 10:30pm.

Matthew ENGLISH (age 28) of Ops Township, Ontario was arrested at the scene and charged with:

Driving with more than 80mg of alcohol in 100ml of blood.

The accused is scheduled to appear in the Ontario Court of Justice in Peterborough, Ontario on July 06, 2017.

(SELWYN TOWNSHIP, ON) Members of the Peterborough County Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) located a vehicle driving erratically on Selwyn Road early Saturday morning shortly after 3:00am.

Mitchell ARMSTRONG (age 20) of Selwyn Township, Ontario was arrested at the scene and charged with:

Impaired driving

Driving with more than 80mg of alcohol in 100ml of blood

Novice driver with blood alcohol concentration above zero

The accused is scheduled to appear in the Ontario Court of Justice in Peterborough. Ontario on July 06, 2017.
