Mohamed Amjad RAHIM – Drunk Driving

On June 26th, 2016 at approximately 5:00pm officers from the Quinte West Detachment of the OPP received a driving complaint in the area of Wooler Road and Loyalist Parkway.

While on patrol an officer from the Quinte West Detachment observed the motor vehicle that was involved in the driving complaint.

After a police investigation it was determined that the driver’s ability to operate a motor vehicle was impaired by alcohol.

Mohamed Amjad RAHIM, 40, of North York has been charged with:

Driving While Ability Impaired – 253(1)(a) Criminal Code of Canada

Care or Control Over 80 mgs. – 253(1)(b) Criminal Code of Canada

The male was released on a Promise to Appear and is scheduled to appear at the Ontario Court of Justice Belleville on July 14th, 2016.
