(TOWN OF ERIN, ON) – On October 16, 2014 at approximately 11:37 a.m. members of the Wellington County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to a rural residence located on Winston Churchill Boulevard in the Town of Erin, in regards to a missing child.
Investigation revealed that a three year old girl and her two dogs wandered off into a heavily wooded area while outside with her father. Wellington County OPP assisted by Caledon OPP officers attended the scene along with the Wellington County Canine, West Region and Central Region Emergency Response Teams (ERT), and the OPP helicopter.
Officers located her shortly before 1:00 p.m., approximately one kilometre from where she was last scene with her two dogs by her side and in good health.
