On Thursday, January 21, 2016, the London Police Service responded to a report of an adult female missing from the area of Ernest Avenue and Bradley Avenue, London. Shelley Joy Desrochers, 41 years of age, was said to have been last seen in this area at about 2:00pm on January 2, 2016, and the London Police Service immediately embarked on an investigation into the missing person’s whereabouts. The investigation has continued with a view to establishing a timeline of her activities, and it is now believed that Shelley Desrochers was in fact last seen at about 10:00am on or about January 5, 2016, on foot in the area of Hamilton Road and Rectory Street. The circumstances reported in both of these sightings were such as not to raise suspicion or concern.
On January 29, 2016, Shelley Desrochers failed to access funds from a bank account as expected. Although investigators remain open to a number of possibilities with respect to Shelley Desrochers’ whereabouts, her failure to access funds is unusual and, in the circumstances,
