Missing Person Located – Foul Play Not Suspected

(Pembroke, ON) – On the 30th of April 2014 at approximately 8:45 pm, the Upper Ottawa Valley Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) was advised of a missing person, 71 year old Albert Dyks of North Grenville Township.

Mr. Dyks was last seen on April 30, 2014 at approximately 7:00 pm leaving a hunt camp located off Barron Canyon Road in the Town of Laurentian Hills. Members of the OPP including the Emergency Response Team (ERT), Canine Unit, Marine Unit and Underwater Search and Recovery Unit were involved in the search.

Mr. Dyks was located deceased in the Barron River on the 2nd of May 2014. A post-mortem will be conducted. Foul play is not suspected.
