On August 8, 2013 members of the OPP Emergency Response Team, the OPP Canine Unit Brent Lingley, Officers of the Whitney OPP Detachment and the Ministry of Natural Resources successfully located a 68 year old male from Winnipeg who had been hiking on a trail in Algonquin Park. The search located the male in a timely fashion and the male was found with no medical issues.
