(HALIBURTON, ON) – On October 20, 2014 at approximately 8:32pm Haliburton Highlands Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) received a report of a 28 year old male who had not returned to his camp from hunting. The male was part of a group of hunters hunting in a remote area near Wilberforce, Ontario.
Members of the Haliburton Highlands OPP detachment along with the OPP canine unit and the OPP Emergency Response Team (ERT) went to scene to assist with the search in the area of Kennaway Road between Drag Lake and Hurst Lake.
The OPP are pleased to report the man was located by ERT this morning at 4:03am safe and sound.
