(South Glengarry) – On October 21, 2014 at approximately 2:57am, SD&G OPP officers responded to a report of a possible break-in at a residence on County Road 18, South Glengarry Township. Investigation indicated that an adult male had forcibly entered the residence of his ex-spouse. Further information revealed historical mischiefs to the home and previous incidents of threats and an assault of female by the accused.
The 53 year old male (from south Glengarry Township) was arrested and is charged with;
– Mischief to Property Under $5000 (2 counts)
– Utter Threats (2 counts)
– Assault-Spousal
He was held in custody pending an appearance (bail) at the Ontario Court of Justice today (October 22, 2014) in Cornwall.
