(FORT FRANCES, ON) – Rainy River District Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) is investigating a mischief that occurred on Elmcrest Avenue in Fort Frances, ON. Sometime between August 27, 2014 at 4:00pm and August 28, 2014 at 3:00 am culprit(s) smashed a van window parked at a residence. Anyone with information is asked to call the OPP at 1-888-310-1122 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477.
Police are reminding drivers to Lock It or Lose It and remove all valuables from their vehicles overnight or keep valuables out of sight. If possible, park vehicles in well-lit areas and report any suspicious behaviour to police.
