(MATTAWA, ON) –On July 24, 2015, Mattawa Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) received a report of damage done to machinery located at Boulter Road, Mattawa.
OPP arrived on scene and, through their investigation, discovered numerous pieces of machinery parked at the work site with severe damage. It appears that, sometime over night, the culprit(s) smashed windshields, windows, pulled out and cut wires and discharged fire extinguishers in vehicles. Damage was done to a John Deere bulldozer, Caterpillar dump truck and excavator. The estimated cost of this vandalism is in the thousands of dollars.
