Mischief To Lynn Valley Trail

(NORFOLK COUNTY, ON) – The Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Norfolk County Detachment investigated an incident after being called to a Lynn Valley Road, Simcoe Norfolk County, Ontario address.

On Tuesday, July 14, 2015 at approximately 1:45 p.m., police were called to a Lynn Valley Road address after a resident found signs of vandalism on the Lynn Valley Trail.

Through investigation it was determined that unknowns attended the trail between Tuesday, June 30, 2015 and Wednesday, July 8, 2015 and damaged a large map of the trails. It appears that a hammer and axe were used to damage the sign which was located ½ km from Norfolk Street South towards Decou Road.

Police are continuing to investigate and is seeking the public’s assistance. If anyone has any information they are being asked to contact the Norfolk County OPP Detachment at 1-888-310-1122.
