(MUNICIPALITY OF WEST PERTH, ON) The Perth County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) received a call advising that one of the West Perth’s wooden heron sculptures in the Mitchell downtown had been senselessly damaged.
Investigation revealed that sometime over the Labour Day Long Weekend, unknown suspect(s) sawed the head off the wooden heron which adorns the sidewalk in front of the IDA pharmacy. It is estimated to cost $1,500 to repair the damaged sculpture.
