(NORFOLK COUNTY, ON) – The Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Norfolk County Detachment is investigating an act of mischief at a Highway 6, Port Dover, Norfolk County, Ontario address.
Between Friday, May 8, 2015 and Monday, May 11, 2015, unknown suspects attended the Kinsmen Scout Hutt and gained entry into the building. Once inside, unknowns attempted to start a fire howver they was unsuccessful. Unknowns then proceeded to damage cupboards, fire detectors and then sprayed cooking on the interior walls of the building.
The OPP is continuing to investigate and is seeking the public’s assistance with this investigation. If anyone has any information they are being asked to contact the Norfolk County OPP at 1-888-310-1122.
Police want to remind all residents that if they see anything suspicious to please contact the police immediately. If anyone is found committing acts of mischief, appropriate charges will be laid.
