Mischief And Theft On Water Street

(NORFOLK COUNTY, ON) – The Ontario Provincial Police (OPP), Norfolk County Detachment investigated a mischief at a Water Street, Charlotteville, Norfolk County, Ontario.

On Saturday, June 4, 2016 at approximately 1:34 p.m., police were contacted by an upset homeowner after they discovered damage items on their property.

Through the course of investigation, it was determined that unknowns attended the address in the early morning hours and proceeded to damage a wheel barrel and break a beer bottle near the pool area of the home causing glass to enter the pool. Unknowns then left the area taking a solar light from the property.

The OPP want to remind all residents that if they see anything suspicious to please contact the police. If anyone is found committing acts of mischief, appropriate charges will be laid.

“Police are looking to speak to anyone that may have information regarding this incident. We need to hold these individual(s) accountable for their actions. Residents are tired of having their property vandalized or property stolen by individuals who think that this type of behaviour is acceptable.” Comments Constable Ed Sanchuk, Norfolk County OPP.
