(HALIBURTON, ON) – The Criminal Investigations Unit of the Haliburton Highlands Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) initiated an investigation into an incident that occurred in early September 2014 in the Township of Minden Hills Ontario. As a result of that investigation Keith HIRSTWOOD age 32 from Minden Ontario has been charged with the following:
Sexual Assault on a Person Under 16 Years of Age – Two Counts
Sexual Interference with a Person Under 16 Years of Age – Two Counts
Invitation to Sexual Touching under 16 Years of Age – Two Counts
Luring a Person Under 16 Years of Age by means of Telecommunication – Two Counts
The accused is scheduled to appear in the Ontario Court of Justice in Minden Ontario on October 01, 2014.
