(MIDDLESEX COUNTY, ON) – At approximately 11:44 p.m. on October 17, 2015, officers from the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Highway Enforcement Team (HET) observed a motor vehicle travelling without lights, on Cromarty Drive.
The vehicle, a black Ford pickup truck, was stopped and officers determined that the male driver had been drinking alcohol. He was arrested and transported to a Middlesex County OPP detachment for breath tests.
As a result of the police investigation, 41-year-old Mark BAIGENT, from Thames Centre, Ontario has been charged with driving with more than 80 mgs of alcohol in blood contrary to the Criminal Code of Canada.
The accused was released from police custody by way of a Promise to Appear (PTA), and is scheduled to answer the charge in a London court on November 24, 2015.
