(KIRKLAND LAKE, ON.) – Members of the Kirkland Lake Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) have charged a man with several criminal offences. The charges stem from a disturbance at a residence located on Taylor Avenue in Kirkland Lake. The subsequent investigation led to the arrest of the accused. The incident occurred at approximately 8:30 p.m. on November 3, 2013. Charged with Threatening, Resist Arrest and three counts of Fail to Comply with a Recognizance is Micheal BIRON age 35 of Timmins, Ontario. He was remanded into custody pending a bail hearing.
