(LUCAN BIDDULPH, ON) – On June 19, 2015 at approximately 5:43 p.m., the Middlesex County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to a report of a possible impaired driver travelling southbound on Richmond Street.
Officers located the vehicle, a grey Buick car, and initiated a traffic stop on Main Street.
Police determined that the 41 year old male driver had been drinking alcohol. A roadside screening device was administered, and the driver registered a “fail”. The male was placed under arrest and transported to a Middlesex County OPP detachment for further breath testing.
As a result of the investigation, Michael MOIR, from London, Ontario, has been charged with driving with more than 80 mgs of alcohol in blood, contrary to the Criminal Code of Canada.
The accused was released from police custody by way of a Promise to Appear (PTA), and is scheduled to appear in a London court to answer the charge on August 6, 2015.
