(GUELPH-ERAMOSA TOWNSHIP, ON) – On January 17, 2015 at approximately 9:56 p.m. Wellington County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) officers were conducting R.I.D.E. programs on Wellington Road 39 just south of Wellington Road 30 in Guelph-Eramosa Township. A male driving a 2005 Cadillac entered the check point. Officers detected the fresh odour of marihuana and seized a small quantity of suspected marihuana. He was arrested and released at the scene with a court date.
Michael Miller age 18 of Fergus is charged with Possession of Marihuana Under 30 grams contrary to the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act.
He is scheduled to appear in Guelph Criminal Court on February 6, 2015 to answer the charge.
