(TOWNSHIP OF GEORGIAN BLUFFS, ON) – On Sunday, August 18, 2013 at approximately 6:47 p.m., Grey County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) received a report of a vehicle in the ditch on Concession 21 in the Township of Georgian Bluffs.
Police arrived and found that the lone driver had been drinking. After failing a road side breath test, he was transported to the Chatsworth OPP Detachment for further breath tests. The test results indicated he had consumed over the legal limit of alcohol. Further investigation revealed that the driver was on conditions by way of a court order, prohibiting him from consuming alcohol. There were no injuries reported.
Michael Mackenzie HUNTER, 21, of Owen Sound, Ontario is charged with over 80 milligrams and failing to comply with a court order under the Criminal Code. He was held for bail hearing scheduled for Tuesday, August 20th.
