Michael LEROUX – Drugs, Breach, Weapon

(LEAMINGTON, ON) — The Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Essex County Crime Unit, along with uniform members, conducted a search warrant on May 10, 2016 at a residence on Talbot Street East in Leamington.

Found within the residence was approximately 17 grams of cocaine, 5 grams of marihuana, Percocet pills, cannabis resin and Canadian cash, along with drug paraphernalia and a prohibited knife.

Michael LEROUX, age 39 of Leamington has been charged with the following offences:

Possession of a Schedule I Drug for the Purpose of Trafficking

Possession of a Schedule I Drug

Possession of a Schedule II Drug Under 30 Grams

Possession of a Schedule II Drug

Possession of a Weapon Contrary to Prohibition Order

Unauthorized Possession of a Weapon

He was taken for a bail hearing and remains in custody at this time.
