(CITY OF GUELPH, ON) – On May 1, 2015 at approximately 8:24 a.m. members of the Wellington County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) investigated the driver of a 2002 Dodge on Harris Street in the City of Guelph for a Highway Traffic Act infraction.
Upon speaking with the driver, police detected the strong odour of fresh marihuana inside the vehicle. The male driver surrendered a small quantity of marihuana to police and he was subsequently placed under arrest.
Michael GASPAR age 26 of Kitchener has been charged with Possession of Marihuana Under 30 Grams contrary to the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act. He is scheduled to appear in Guelph Criminal Court on June 9, 2015 to answer to his charge.
