(Bancroft, Ontario) – On Thursday the 08th of January 2015, the Bancroft detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police received the report of an assault that had occurred at a residence on Highway 62 in the Municipality of Hastings Highlands. Investigation into the incident revealed that an adult male had physically assaulted and threatened another adult male.
42 year old Michael DUPUIS of the Municipality of Hastings Highlands was arrested and has been charged with assault and uttering threats. He was held in custody pending a bail hearing and his next scheduled appearance is on Monday the 12th of January 2015, at the Ontario Court of Justice in Belleville, Ontario.
